ClimateLaunchpad in a nutshell
The EIT Climate-KIC’s ClimateLaunchpad is the largest competition in the world calling for green business ideas with the potentiality to tackle climate change and to foster transition towards a more environmentally friendly world. All ideas concerning innovation in renewable energy, the rethink of urban mobility, a more efficiently recyclable plastic or any other idea in the cleantech domain is warmly welcomed and invited to register. The best ideas will compete for awards up to €10 000 and for one of the 10 places available in EIT Climate-KIC’s world-renowned Accelerator programme.
How it works
For each country at least seven business ideas will be selected which will participate to a two-day national Boot Camp introducing the participants to the competition.
In the following weeks the participants will have the unique opportunity to take part in six intensive coaching sessions held by experts who will help them ameliorate their business models and pitches, getting ready for the National Final. During the National Final participants will pitch in front of the National Jury.
The winning teams from the National Finals have access to the Global Grand Final, where they will pitch in front of leading investors and entrepreneurs, they will be given useful feedbacks and the possibility to further discuss in details their ideas during the networking sessions. 16 semi-finalists will be selected to continue the competition and be awarded money prizes or one of the 10 placements in EIT Climate-KIC’s world-renowned Accelerator programme.
