Since 2015, the Clim’Foot project, funded under the LIFE programme, has been developing and experimenting a set of tools for implementing public policies to calculate and reduce the carbon footprint of organisations. For this purpose, National databases of emission factors have been developed in France, Italy, Greece, Croatia and Hungary. In addition, a selected number of organisations were trained and supported in the carbon footprint calculation and reduction.

In order to share all over Europe this common approach with standard databases for calculating the carbon footprint of organizations, two international events are organized in Paris:

  1. 14 June 2018: the Clim’Foot project final conference aiming at sharing main project results and feedback from organizations & policy makers participating in the project. Target audience: policy makers, public/private organizations and other stakeholders working on GHG emissions reduction.
    2. 15 June 2018: Workshop focusing on replication of the experience through training policy makers on how to use tools and methodologies for the implementation of ambitious public policies for reducing carbon footprint of organizations.

Target audience: policy makers.
